The 12Â” will feature instrumentals, remixes and performances not found on Â“Czarface Meets GhostfaceÂ” designed for listening while enjoying the oversized full color Czarface comic built right into the 12Â” jacket (like Power Records releases from the 70s). Hip Hop supergroup Czarface will be releasing their collaborative effort with Wu-Tang ClanÂ’s Ghostface Killah on February 15th in the form of Â“Czarface Meets Ghostface.Â” For Record Store Day the groupÂ’s Silver Age imprint (yes, thatÂ’s a nod to the Silver Age of comics) will make available another must have pairing Â– a special 12Â” vinyl release with an all new Czarface comic. Silent Duet 2 Â / and DVD of entire concert The B side features one of the two 'Silent Duets' the two performed together that night.Ġ1. Also included in this package is a 45 RPM record documenting John Cage performing verses from his Empty Words writings while accompanied by Sun Ra. Included here is an additional audio track of commentary featuring Rick Russo. The silent passages illuminate new auras when presented with the previously unseen visual component, and now over thirty years since it was recorded, you can truly experience the full spectacle. The VHS footage has been combined with the audio master (containing several silent sections and some mic issues that occurred during the production), which breathes new life into the tiny reels of tape. It was long believed that Cage and Ra never performed together but as youÂ’ll see,these two shared the stage the entire time. Recorded at Sideshows by the Seashore along the Coney Island boardwalk on June 8th, 1986 as documented on VHS by John Polizzi under the commission of event producers Rick Russo and Bronwyn Rucker.

The never-before-seen in its entirety, visual documentation proving this avant-garde collaboration of mythic proportions did indeed occur. This is a release that will be eagerly embraced by Twin Peaks fans, & a great addition to our much beloved Twin Peaks catalog. And so there is nothing more ready for plugging into the set of Twin Peaks releases from Rhino, especially following on from the acclaimed pair of Season 3 soundtrack albums from 2017! Once again we have David Lynch himself overseeing the reissue pressed on 180g vinyl & with stills from the film included in the gatefold jacket. And so we have an artefact that has never been available on digital services, and more importantly, never on vinyl, and long gone on CD.

The missing piece in the incredibly successful new release and reissue campaign for the Twin Peaks series has been the mysterious soundtrack to Season Two!Â The TV program aired in 1990-1991, without the traditional accompanying record release, and it was not until 2007 that the soundtrack album was issued, and only as a very limited CD via David LynchÂ’s own label.
